I know this dosen't count as a "pocket" world per se, but it appears that both height and width can be edited. Does this mean we can make long, thin strip worlds?

Yep, I've been messing with strip worlds for a while. What I REALLY want is to have a wrap-around world where east goes around to west and I can make a Ring map.  Come to think of it, that would work for full-size maps too.

Can we has hemispheres, Toady One?

That's what I was thinking about. A nice ring world to roam around would be fun.

Dwarven Halo, anyone?

I got one with none of those damned tree-huggers, but only 1 human, 1 dwarf, 1 gobbo town.  Seems there was another town in the middle that died out.  went inside and found the whole kit-and-kaboodle, shops, meadhall, the lot, but not even a mayor   :p

The above (including bbcode) neatly weighs in at 255 characters. Fallout meets DF

The covering of the mountainside comes from that site sprawl bug.  I still can't get it to happen here.  Your first pocket world shouldn't have it, anyway.

Toady:  I think the site sprawl may be related to either Regional Prospector.exe or Dwarf Foreman.  I can usually generate one world per session, (IE: seed, find site and play) BUT if I make a new seed it gets bloated with sites.
