We need someone who is a master of Dwarven engineering; who could make a pillar of Obsidian rising hundreds of feet into the air using only two pumps, a creek, and a Magma-Pipe.
Someone who could make a Megaproject so amazingly inefficient, it would actually be the end of the Fortress, after successfully defending it from thousands of external incursions.

You are referring to the king of procrastination. Bow your head, but not now. But I was just surprised by high-ish quality fan-fic about forum posters so quickly. I now know what my goal in life is: to become so popular on this forum to get fan-fic'd!

Same here. If people are truly gonna follow through with this plan, i would love to be a part of it. Be it notes or succession game(i have little to no idea how they work, but from what information i've gathered about them, they sound awesome).

Besides, either way it means it isn't completely up to me to do it. Not that i would have a problem with taking it on solo, but i am not kidding when i say i would very likely doom this project on my own.

My DF experience, which some would consider laughable at best, combined with my incredible persistence and stubbornness would ensure that i would not quit until the game itself wouldn't allow me to continue any further, no matter how massive a failure it became. Rest assured that, with me being in total control of this endeavor, you could expect either an immaculate creation of awe-inspiring brilliance, or for the whole thing to do a quadruple-flip swan dive straight into the abysmal sea of ruin.

But yeah, sounds really interesting.
