Or if that is too much, at least have a spoiler policy for screenshots (each game in it's own spoiler).

It's been a while i have not played OpenTTD but it's always a good fun.

Starting small, with a regal bus linking 2 towns and 2 iron ore trucks linking an Ore mine and a Steel Mine, my little company is now starting to make profit after the original expenses.

Soon i'll re-invest to get more diversified activities with all the plants around that small map (64x64).

Somebody needs to set up a multiplayer game of this again.

If you're interested in the WWII aviation experience, give me a shout or a PM :) I joined the 13th earlier this month. Most of the guys are transferring from Star Wars Galaxies, where they've played for years. I'm the first guy from "outside", but I felt straight at home. They're a hilarious bunch - you wouldn't believe how much we laugh, with younger and older guys, some who are WWII buffs and some who just enjoy hanging around each other and talking, and complete noobs up to 5+ year veterans. You'll find a bit of everything! I always kept out of the whole squadron thing, because most of them are super serious, with mandatory squad nights and all that. The 13th? Hop on Ventrilo. If someone's in the mood, we'll fly :)

Right now we mostly do torpedo bombing, which is nice, relaxing and often hilarious, but we are interested in expanding to fighters, level-bombers and dive-bombers too. Sorry to make this more a publicity thing, but IL2 deserves more love than it gets ;) Again, if you're interested, shoot me a PM!

Here's some of mine.  I might actually have to start taking more screenshots...

Total War: Shogun 2:

One man goes against a few scores of arrows and somehow survives.

My very first multiplayer match.  Also the first time I'd performed a siege.  It turned out better than I thought it would.  I'd thrown nothing but some Samurai Archers and a ton of peasant Spearmen together, and my enemy had done something similar, only with fewer archers and some light cavalry.  Luckily he didn't have any swordsmen, or else he would have torn through my spearmen like butter...

Tropico 4:

Here's something I thought I'd never see - My opponent's only vote was his own.  Poor guy's wife didn't even vote for him.

And here's my profile, for the interested.

IL-2 is a Russian WW2 era plane model. Whatever it stands for wouldn't be in English. The full title of the game (series) is IL-2 Sturmovik. :p

Heh, sorry! It's stupid of me to assume everyone knows what the heck that is about :P Yeah, IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. It's all about simulating WWII air combat, and it's got HUNDREDS of planes. It's not an arcade game, and we usually fly full-real, but don't let that intimidate you. Like I said, there's some of us that are only just learning how to fly!

You can grab it for $10 at your preferred download place (Steam, GoG, etc). It's really old despite still being patched and modded, so graphics look somewhat dated, but I don't think that's a problem for B12ers :) The new game in the series just came out, and its damage modelling, engine modelling, graphics, and everything else is light years ahead of 1946, but the game has some performance issues, and only half a dozen planes, so we're sticking with '46.

It's definitely a simulation, so it's hard and takes years to become very good at. We usually fly "full real", but don't let that intimidate you :) There's a bunch of videos on youtube. Here's a funny one, and here's a comparison of mod effects with the real thing.

Maybe I should find an IL2 topic and move all of this there?
