I'd like to sign up for an end-of-the-world fortress, please.

Awesome. Could use more volcano, though.

It's only in perfect world.  Volcanoes appear only in the main game.

Okay.  Note that you will be waiting awhile for it to start, though.  We have to kill off the planet first.

I hate to be pessimistic but killing EVERYTHING would take a really long time I think.  Even on a pocket world

Focus is placed on sentients.

Not all of them, but you can deplete the populations of most animals. It just takes forever, though. Killing all people is more feasible.

They do have population numbers, so it is theoretically possible.  Practially, not really.

Anyway, I'm probably going to raise the number of megabeasts and titans.  Should help keep numbers down.  XML dumps into Legends Viewer (when it is compatible with the latest version) will allow us to track everything.  If we can bring down 1 necromancer tower and secure the slab, then entire armies could be raised.  While pulping would prevent infinite gain of zombies, there will still be large numbers allowing for huge levels of destruction.

Zombies are WAAAAAAAY more durable in this version, as far as I've seen. Should probably save a dragon for the last kill so that they can be disposed of quickly. Or mod in some cheat potion for firebreath.

If they are more durable, then after we kill off one tower, the world would be coming to its end.

Oh, I had a thought for the modding side of things: in the recreated world, the megabeasts would be the adventurers who survived.  Have them all hole up in a cave or something, each with their own entity.  Potentially, the former adventurers could even launch their own raids when they become non-players, helping out the depopulation.

I haven't heard of this for a long time. Are we still waiting for releases to become stable?

At this point, they are probably stable enough to run the game.  We just need a perfect world gen for a 65x65 or 33x33 to use to keep the world consistent between the two and it could start up.
