Odd that in my fort named "Anvilwhirled" I have never had a combat report say: "The spinning (iron anvil) strikes the goblin in the head, tearing the skin, shattering the skull and tearing the brain!"
This is something you must fix, immediately.

With the name of Complexdoor, I hope the front entrance is a deathtrap for anything green-skinned. Or green-loving.

The first time I played on a map with an aquifer, I named the fortress "Groundgurgle." The aquifer wasn't actually that big of a problem, and the fort died when I got bored with it and a new version came out...

I always like to construct my fort/group names myself, usually so it can relate to whatever i plan for the fortress.

My current one? Gorerape the Massive Malicious Maze of Death.

Can you guess what i'm building?

Though maybe that's the issue. The concept is just too simple for the dwarven mind to grasp!

But dwarves can't make knives. :P

No, but there's plenty of Short Swords
"That's not a knife, THIS is a knife!"

My last fort was set into a glacial cliff face, all chill and fantastic. The first random name was "Ironwinter"- perfect!
