Trying to find a tetris variant
« on: October 11, 2011, 01:42:52 pm »

Anybody rembember a tetris variant with the Statue of Liberty in the background? You try to stick the same colored squares together to destroy them.

The only thing you see on the background is the statue. It doesn't change. Only the color changes when you clear a level. I don't rembember much but I'm sure there was a unique piece that would destroy all the same colored blocks it lands on. It also had a nice music.

Game was available for Atari.

Found it. Sorry about that. My mom rembembers the game better than me.

If you are curious, it was Magic Jewelry.

You know an awesome and really fun Tetris variant to play? Atomic Tetris for DOS, and any more modern equivalent to that style (Like EITtris). Awesome and frustrating as hell game to play against people with.

If you are playing against good players, you will learn to hate this game very much. In a good way.

Apparently, Varmint's EITtris is still in development, to soe degree, so here's your modern equivalent to Atomic Tetris. Have ‼FUN‼.

If we can play online, we definitely need to setup online Bay-12 servers for this game.
