Why are we not training these Cavy Boars for war yet?

Well, I dunno if it really counts, but I once had an 'incredibly muscular' blacksmith berserking, causing chaos and slaughtering people in the dozens in my poorly-modded human fortress. Then, as he was strangling a tame wolf, a stray raccoon ran up, bit his head and shook it around til he died.
Sure, the tame honey badger helped too, but the raccoon got credit for the kill. :P

I'm tellin' ya, Capybaras are scary.
Who said anything about capybaras? This is a guinea pig.
Eeyup.

Yes, this thread is about a guinea pig, chasing away an unimaginable beast that can likely shoot some kind of toxic chemical, fly, and/or breath fire. I love dwarf fortress.
Oh yes, it can fly, as well as having a poisonous bite that has provided a bunch of "fun" for everything else that fights it.
