Nice one... but I think it would have been more fitting to outfit them with weapons and have them say hello to your resident hydra.

Where does the armored dwarf's mustache go in the second to last panel?

I noticed this mistake before I posted the thread, and thought.. "The exaggeration of the expression is so immense that his mouth was permanently riped from its original position and put to this new location. Therefor this expression is now permanent." The sad part is that he may never fully recover...

very nice, but, the humor you were looking for was lost because, we aren't show WHY or HOW they were put into water or whatever that is.

it would be considerably easier to read and promptly understood if, before the frame in which they end up in water, you show them standing on a trap, or a bridge, or something, something to connect the armored dwarf to their watery grave.  As it is, when reading it, I felt that I got what you were going for but that it was missing an important step in between which prevented me from giving it the chuckle it rightly deserved.

oh and, yes, definitely do more =)

You're right. I think I rushed it at then end, I'm not very good at photoshop so it took way longer than it should have. This took like 4 hours X_X.

Overall, I have to say it was hilarious. In fact, I found it so hilarious that I think I'm going to try one of my own. If I get around to it I'll post it in this thread on account of you being my inspiration.
And yes, please make more, I need some more ideas to steal.

I disagree. This strip could have been done in less panels - people tend to use too many and drag things out. The suddenness of them drowning was good enough.

I thought it was decently funny.  Considering you're just starting out?  It's really good.

You may want to develop at least one character, even if it's the guard (Urist McDwarfy seems to be a favorite.

Personally, I would have given them all copper armor, and no weapons, and had them participate in operation: meat shield.

Valcon knows not what he says.  It's funny because it implies that the ONLY causal relationship of note is "I make cheese" -> "Help! I'm underwater!"

And that's essentially true!

I'm amazed:  It's a DF comic that doesn't suck, and is even funny!  Congratulations.  Your art is good.
