Apparently Protektor is the 'Linux Game Lead for Desura'... Does Dwarf Fortress actually work on Linux?

The thing about TF2 is that it has dedicated servers, so regardless of whether or not the majority of the community is awful it's not particularly hard to find a server populated by great people.

The game itself is pretty damn good too.

I saw DF on Mod DB and Desura a while ago. I think they just linked to the website though. I didn't know what the heck Desura was back then.

Well I was just trying to come up with some examples, seems Í should only have mentioned COD.

Since Tarn's only source of income is donations toward the development of Dwarf Fortress, I certainly hope that the Desura program provides a link directly to Bay12games.com/dwarves/

There is a small "Bay12 Games" in the website section, but there is no large "Donate" button.
