If there are so many Fins into DF, why haven't they flooded the forum yet?

To celebrate DF and Lolcats, we must have Loldwarves.

Dwarf Fortress is competitive with a commercial online rpg

Phantasy Star Universe is a game I quit recently.  Lately it has been plagued by buggy updates which is one reason I left.

Big spike around when it was released.  Dwarf fortress was beating it for a short time right before the expansion and then as people realized that the expansion wasn't all that great and now there both at about the same level.

Those statistics tell the percentage out of all searches so if (in theory) Finns made 5 million searches and 0,03% of them were "dwarf fortress", there would be 1500 hits. Relatively with US the numbers would be 300 million, 0,01% and 30.000.

Dwarves vs. carp

Why are carp so sinusoidal?

This isn't pretty either:

Dwarves vs. elephants

I notice that the city with the most searches for dwarves is Seattle, which is where Toady is.  Coincidence? I think not.

More fun with internet traffic statistics:

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/bay12games.com

65,700:th biggest website in the world. Congratz Tarn!

Seems like Sweden won the country-in-which-dwarf-fortress-is-most-popular award and Finland disappeared completely from the list. Odd.

Not surprising. Porn is like the Chuck Noris of the internet: aloof, forbidding, terrifying.
