Roll to Tantrum Spiral!

It's Wednesday again and the fortress is empty of booze. Furthermore, the water source has frozen, food stocks are dwindling, and there's not enough vermin to go around. Maybe everyone is frustrated because they've been on patrol duty for four years. Or that the forgotten beast destroyed the Legendary Artifact Bed that the mayor was sleeping in. No matter what the cause, this is it. The beginning of the end for the fortress of U'mad Sevrawd. It all starts in the dining hall, just after lunch....

RULES

1) Turns will not occur concurrently. That means, if Person A posts an action, then the action will take place before person B,C,D. The only rule to limit turns is you will not get another turn until another 4 people take actions in front of you, or 24 real life hours.

2) Until there are four players in the game, no attacking other players. Attack NPCs, animals, or inanimate objects instead.

3) This is a role-playing game, albeit a ridiculous one. If you post the action of a calm,logical dwarf, then I will randomly role a beserk action. That means no : Running away, calling the captain of the guard, etc.

Character Creation

Choose a character name and sex. You will randomly assigned items to your inventory. I will randomly determine the rest of the details about your character.

Scene 1: The Legendary Dining Room (description not complete)
In the past, this was a legendary dining room. The ornately carved walls were world renowned, and the furniture had no par. That was before the flood... well, that was a long time ago. The salvaged dining room now is basically a rectangular cut into the earth, barely anything of note. Some of the Dwarves have been allowing their animals to run freely, so the place is kind of a mess.

NPC Dwarves here :
Urist (peasant)
Horatio (chief medical dwarf)
Remmus (jeweler)
Bomrek (administrator)

Wait. Is this an RTD or a roleplay? If a roleplay...Why in the RTD forums?

Good question. I didn't think too much about it other than the game mechanic is fairly simple so I considered it to be an RTD. As far as the role-playing part, it can be summed up with the line "Your character is a tantruming dwarf, act accordingly."

Right, guess I'll join then. I don't really know how the stats work, so I just left 'em at normal, for now anyways.

I have no intentions on limiting people signing up - this is a combat oriented game that will turn PvP real quick. Basically bash, bash bash.

Tiny question: Is the physics according to the current DF or the past versions of DF where many creatures were fly-weight?

The physics are going to be loosely based on real and dwarf fortress physics. Creatures will be over the weight of flies, for sure.
