Also holy shit that is some skillful artwork right there! There are so many nice little details to look at, and i'm not only referring to the girl. :V
The watercolour effect on the background is neat, is that actually watercolours or is it some clever digital brushwork?

wanted to try out a bit of character interaction (and expressions that i don't draw quite as often) so here's an upstart criminal gnoll making a bad decision (and yes i realize in hindsight that i drew lizard's neck too thick but oh well, not like 80's anime doesn't draw necks wider than heads)

it's digital brushwork. One of the clip studio updates came with some very flexible new watercolour tools so it can look and behave a bit more like the real thing, like the textured blender tool I used for merging different strokes and creating pools of darker paint without the usual pool boundaries applied to strokes. It's kinda like having a digital water brush for thinning out areas and moving paint

I'm amused by the mental image of someone just picking up their lamp and playing it. :V

Interesting! It certainly produces a very convincing effect that you put to great use. I should check if Krita has something similar. :v

Krita has had similar tools for years AFAIK, and a specific set of watercolour-y brushes comes with 4.x. Krita's brush engines have pretty much always been its strongest point.

Finally done. Because of how much of a derp I am with sticking to a project without the right music, this was multiple days of work Consistency issues with it, but everyone else I showed it to liked it.

ZM5's DF install is fucking strange, since this consisted of what I thought was a pumpkinhead skeleton from his horror pack, some kind of possessed cultist and witch from his diablo pack, and left 4 dead infected. The pumpkinhead fought the infected with a boathook made of magic World of Warcraft bullshit metal.

But it was something to do.
