been trying to improve my map making skills. this is the latest resutl so far (current size s 6000x4000), its a mixture of topographic brushing over noise in order to expose some kind of elevation then port to Wilbur for extra land featuring and then import back as a new texture with some gradients applied to show both elevation colors and biome colors like icecaps or deserts.

still, i think its missing something but im not sure what i need to fix. the idea is to make it into a texture that i ca later put on a game engine for walking around

This one's more WIP-y than the other, but DJ spent three years as a PMC. War is never cheap, but some people are willing to foot the bill of hiring personnel like those of Grey Wolf Security.

My first thought for the Ride prompt was a monster called the Nuckelavee, but that would need way more than just the ~2 hours of work I can afford to put in a night to look even half-way decent. Maybe I'll do it after Inktober is over.

Didn't notice at first, but the carousel is real grimy looking because of the metallics/roughness, but the horses aren't. One of those should probably get changed to match the other. Meh.

Inktober's over, and I'm surprised I made it through. It was fun, but it was hard to find the time to work on something every day, between work, family, friends, and to be honest, my own general laziness. If I find myself with more free time next year, I might do it again.

But now I don't know what to do with my admittedly limited free time.
