Ooo very nice, digging these landscapes! They have this nice otherworldly feel to them that i wish i was more competent at. :v

... mostly by banging my head against the wall until it submits

Came for Shook, got what I wanted.
Hee, only happy to provide. Also, indulging in absolute insanity is the good shit. :v

Sadly haven't done much today (well, doodled my weirdo i guess), but i forgot to mention that i've been messing around with recording time lapses of my drawings.

Tech is set up now, just need to record an actual drawing instead of a test doodle now.

Cool, however just as the last one it is filled to core with running gags precisely engineered for the target group.

Here's something that could interest you, let's put some silly hats on frogs.

I have to say, that's [[[literally]]] amazing work. You should consider reposting some of this to r/worldbuilding--I bet tons of people would be interested in seeing the use of 3d models and fabrics to speculate on clothing for different species, real or fictional!

I agree.

Moreover, after peering at these beautiful tailoring realizations, I just couldn't resist, and I made a mad trip back in this thread to find some of Quaksa's older posts... Simply because I wanted to see again a few nice depictions of clothes for frogs, and because I thought it would be valuable to rediscover them. By doing so, I have also discerned potential ways for technical improvement that might interest him.

To begin with, a reminder of THE badass magi-priest:

Wat, wizard and vault guardian of Talak
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We see there a fancy necklace-thingy that seems to be used as a fastening for the two sides of the ceremonial garment (or cape).

I suppose that this or a simple string could very well replace the needle fixing the garment, that we see on this picture. Nonetheless, maybe to use some kind of big metal pin for the same purposs (similar to the needle but shorter) would be neat for a judge frog, because it could serve as a weapon to protect his dignified figure in case of an invasion. Or alternatively, for a very corrupted judge to murder an annoying rival from behind... Even if I know that judges should never be evil!

Then, among the twelve ancestral frogs, we see, at the top right, a cool white cape on one of them, that is made of two parts with a panel on the front. It gives a very cute style, that I would willingly desribe as panda-like! (Except that a panda is black and white...)

The first twelve frogs

Afterward, on a symbolic picture of three judges, we can observe they are all wearing a cape. In addition, on the middle frog we can see a fictive pattern that is covering the hind legs. And it has given me the idea that just as the "panda-like" frog of before, a panel could be added on the front, but maybe it could have the same leg pattern, or other original vertical bands of patterns, to increase the appearance and the lordliness of the magistrate.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

One last observation: on this representation of Tróba, a frog character from an old comic of Quaksna, I noticed that the cape is very modest and doesn't cover the hind legs. Therefore, it makes think that such a lighter piece of clothing would allowing freer movements, and would be ideal to travel outside, especially in the hot climates were most Kevekii live. But I wonder, maybe that a string to attach the cape on the front would be necessary for it to stay in place?

Tróba reimagined

EDIT: The second picture was lacking. Now it's fixed.

Fine. But I have only two pages so far, still working on part one...

By making my last post, I only wanted to explore a bit the domain of frog clothing and try adding a small contribution to it, but now I discover that it's already some sort of full-fledged scientific discipline. It's quite impressive! :D

On the topic of pointy hats, you're perfectly right, it was Dunamisdeos who was so hyped about them.

Here's a proof of it:
Pointy hats! All the best wizards have pointy hats, or sometimes hoods. The only exception are Red Mages, which wear giant feathercaps.

And here's the result of the request he made to you:
