A dwarf I sculpted and printed, left foot failed but other than that I’m rather pleased with him!

That looks really cool, what did you use to sculpt it?

Thank you! I used Blender, having improved my understanding over the last two years. Blender is free and has lots of YouTube tutorials.

What did you do when you printed it to make it so smooth looking, I haven't seen any 3D printed stuff look that smooth.

Mouse doodle of a character I'm making and the princess she serves. Trying a very cartoony style.

It’s a resin print on an Anycubic Photon Mono 4k, I can barely see the layers with my eye. But other than using a very accurate machine I didn’t do anything special.

Using resin must be the thing, if I remember right most of the things I've seen have been using the plastic filament.

Not sure what difference between resin and plastic printing is.

Oh yes, quite different methods, with different pros and cons.

Resin is a fluid hit by a laser to set it hard, so the model appears out of the liquid like the lady of the lake.

Note: since posting the photo I knocked it off my shelf and broke the axe head off. 😞 Guess I’ll just print another! 😁

I've only really looked into the plastic filament printers, maybe I should look into the resin printers more.

Aw man that's a shame, at least you can make a new one.
