So I tried to take this thing I drew (Fig. 1) and make another picture of it (Fig. 2). I haven't finished the second one yet.

Spoiler: Fig. 1 (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Fig. 2 (click to show/hide)
THE FEET MAN

Basically, the feet on the second drawing are drawn in a manner that suggests that the thing is facing directly towards the viewer, but then you look up and see that the entire upper body is in a 3/4th view, which makes my knees feel a bit funky. I'd also mention a somewhat stiff pose, but given how heavily armoured the thing is, i'd say that that's only fitting. :v
To illustrate what i mean about the feet:

It's worth considering the two lines on the ground, since those are basically what you should align the feet after. In this case, i horribly missed having the feet lined up, but if you (unlike me) know what you're doing, you can probably work it to your advantage and make it a dynamic pose, or something. :P

Oh yeah also

The shading looks like CGI if you shrink it.
THIS PLEASES ME AND I AM GLAD :D

Shook, your perspective is fine, especially as it's just an educational example. You just put the femur in the wrong part of the leg :P

Hey, I have Monaco as well. We could start a group, I've been looking for people to play with. Sadly, singleplayer just doesn't seem as good as multiplayer.

I have Monaco as well. We can all fail horribly at raids together.

Amazing. Somehow you've made Lemongrab the least creepy one there.

I wrote a small paper about how DOOM uses trigonometry. I didn't put it in the writing thread since it's more of a tutorial or lecture than actual creative writing, and I made most of the graphics myself. It's not finished yet, but I'm struggling to find a way to word the next bit and I won't have the spare time to work on it for a few weeks at least.

Feet and hands are my damnation, I never get it right. Okie-dokie, I'll try to fix it and share the result later.

Don't worry mate, you're doing fine! Hands and feet are probably the most difficult parts of the human(oid) figure to get right, and honestly i'm pretty terrible at them myself, given how i usually just scribble down something that looks vaguely right without being anatomically sound. :v (this is also not helped by the fact that i rarely draw five fingers/toes per hand/foot on anything)
I also totally forgot to mention that the rest of the drawing is quite good, which is rather rude of me, given how i believe that criticism should generally be paired with some nice words in order to not sound like a negative nancy. :I

I made this a long time ago but never posted it anywhere (IIRC).

this is both beautiful and terrifying at the same time and i love it

Bought myself a copy of Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine Collector Edition.

It was only a fiver, but I'm not terribly happy about buying it.
That's mostly because I'm supposed to be saving money, though, and then I end up impulsively buying things anyway.
Neat~
We could play sometime!
We could, if my laptop decides to actually work for once. It would be pretty neat to actually play Multiplayer games with other people.
Time zones may be a problem, though.
