Overall it looks fine. The proportions look OK to me.

The lack of eyebrows makes her eyelashes come off looking like eyebrows. Add eyebrows and make her mouth a little more expressive and I think you'll warm up to the model more. You might want to go with a texture for the mouth instead of modeling it to have a more authentic anime feel.

I feel like a texture mouth would be just a bit too simplistic for this level of detail, although I guess that's hard to argue given that I haven't modeled much more than her really simple dress, and her shoes which don't have any materials yet.

I added eyebrows, swiped a different eye texture and made the mouth a bit wider, and I'm surprised at the difference. It still looks pretty boyish IMO but at least it looks like a person now. Thanks for the advice Gunin and Hugo.

I'd make her face narrower, her chin pointier, and her eyebrows a little less cylindrical. Also, I second Tack on the eyelashes looking like eyebrows - they're super thick right now.

The mouth is currently very "strong" - if you represent it with simplified lips instead of just a slash, it'll look more feminine.

I'd do some stylised face sketches to show you what I mean, but I don't have my tablet here. :/

Then make random one-page/one-image scenarios and let people come up with their own stories for them, or something ;v

There was even this one thing when a guy looked through a part of a DF world's history and then asked us to pick another place; this was a fun thing too v;

I would argue the opposite since DA lets me see all of a person's art in one place, and if I like what they're doing I can have it notify me of them specifically.

Related: not to mention if I'm interested in supporting and sharing an artist, it also makes more sense to share their art portfolio than a post in a thread on Bay12, and if other people want to follow them they're more likely to follow them on a platform like DA or Tumblr or otherwise.

But I understand that not every artist is interested in being noticed by people outside Bay12, but if you are, get a freakin' blog or portfolio going somewhere and make it easy for people to find.
