Down at the bottom of the ocean. Beneath tons of brine which would crush you down. Not into broken and splintered flesh, but into thin soup. Into just more of the sea water. Where things live that aren't so different from you, but you will never live to touch them and they will never live to touch you.

He looks like a rejected Rareware protagonist.

This is a compliment I swear. Plz send more Scuba Steve sketches. Your line quality is pretty decent. Keep drawing stuff that comes into your brain, no matter how weird.

I like the little dude, he could pass for a platformer protagonist. :v

oh boy shook get ready for the MIRRORCANNON

By which I mean, under harsh side lighting rocks will tend to have high-contrast shadows with clearly defined edges. Moar contrast, less blending towards the point casting the shadow. Those hollows in the rocks should basically be low-contrast darkness on the side the shadow is cast from, lightening out only towards the other side.

Also you can get away with a sort of impressionist approach to landscapes a lot of the time if your composition is decent. Less excruciating details, more broad strokes the convey the light, mood, and environment.

... Shit, you got me. :v
I do have a slight counterpoint, however; violent contrast in the background draws the eyes away from what's supposed to be the main part of the image. It is, however, no secret that i'm horseshit at composition and such things, so i'm gonna need to work on it. Thanks for the feedback!

also fuckin hell i have drawn so much shit today

TFW you actually know those people and then connect all the dots twice over that you form a parallelepiped.
I was seriously giving you feedback while being totally unsure of what that was for other than 'wow GUNIN has good art because he's doing and trying c:', because I was, and still have, that ol' "don't prejudge" kinda mindset.
:V
Seriously.
I blame ECrownofFire for niceness and letting me know cool people. :I

* Tiruin is ambivalent now,  because she is :D and :I at not realizing stuff sooner. But yay for you two! Disco is a nice person \o/
