It is? Huh. I've been a rude boi. :V
Personally i'm always (if passively) looking for feedback, since it helps me iron out those annoying little flaws that i miss myself, and also helps me avoid getting too complacent. I guess i should make it a habit to actually state that rather than silently and cryptically imply that to be the case. :P

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

B-but I'm always happy to run my mouth you just got to ask I:

It's just that unrequested feedback is usually seen as very rude among artists
Sometimes, which is why making a place where it's taken as granted that you're allowed (expected) to give someone feedback is important. The biggest problem isn't that someone might accidentally offend an artist with their feedback, it's when people ask themselves that question ("is this rude?") and then withhold their thoughts.

Hmm. I think the top right speech bubble should be moved farther left into the panel to the left, so it's more obvious that you should read the elf's speech before the dwarf's speech. At least I assume that's the intended order because it seems to be her speaking up that draws the guard's attention.

"turn heels" isn't a phrase I'm used to hearing, just "turn back" would work better there IMO.

i know it's not the critique thread, sorry

It's just a little off, something like "tuck tail and run" or "run with his/her tail between his/her legs" or even issuing a command "turn on your heel and begone"

Trouble with English syntax is pretty common, so don't feel too bad about awkward turn of phrases. I don't know how much you're looking for dialogue critiques, but the rest of the conversation is similarly askew. The formality of it when the Captain(?) is sending his guardsman back inside, and then the pacing of the words between him and the elf woman.

Stipoth is pretty much the only guy I really remember from my first fort. Head of my military, chill fort but infested with vampires. At the time I read that vampires had high stats and he was just over the top, so I stripped him of his title, untilI found him sleeping, drunk on a field. He was then reinstated, and went on training the officers of thekingdom. His students were to become the teachers of my subsequent fort, so all our military tradition can be traced back to him. One of them became the head of commerce of the kingdom. Super important character, acting mostly in the shadows.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll rewrite the dialogs when I have more energy

I have no problem with non-idiomatic phrases when they're used in exotic settings. If that line were in (choose metropolitan area) I'd agree, but I think it's fine how it is. Text in the bottom right speech bubble needs a little alignment though, but other than that I like the style and framing a lot.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

That idiom has a direct English equivalent: turn on your heels.
