So, I'm starting to actually take time to learn/practice pixel art at least once a week now, in some attempt to have a schedule of some sort.  Doing 1 hour pixel art on fridays, choosing whatever I'm drawing via random roll.

So, first one ended up being a Bat Ray.  Funtimes learning Aseprite at the same time here too.

I don't usually draw, but the other day I suddenly really wanted to own a giant spaceship and call it the Judgement Day.

I remember when we had one of those here on bay12.
I remember Kot getting up people for riping spritesheets and not following rules and "Also the Lemons dude because despite his army is ultra-simple, he seems to get the concept very damn well."

I continued my lightsaber yesterday, and I'm pretty happy with it now. Made the handle have a grip (trying to make it look like there's leather wrapped around) and adjusted the proportions.

That's pretty great. Makes me want to try making pixel art myself (again). Though I think I'll stick with learning Blender for now.

picture wars

Oh jeeze that looks like way too much investment for me at the moment, I'm gonna struggle as is to do my 1/week thing for pixel art.

Though I am also doing 1/week 3d modeling via random roll, todays one rolled something involving scanners so I made something based on a 3d hand-scanner.

Been ages since I've drawn anything. Darned dissertation. Glad to do something, even if the construction circles refused to rub out.

Draw them faintly with blue/yellow/pale colored pencils.

That way even if they wont rub out, you can easily remove them in Photoshop/gimp/whatever.
