WIP for the outskirts/service entrance/import-export area of a Dwarven City. Trying to be productive and do a little work every day, build up to a better output.

The now-abandoned fortress-city of Sranü-Zkidan was once famed for its "stone forests", both natural and artificial. Pictured here is the city's Western entrance--an "upstream" waterway that siphons some of the water from the aboveground marsh-vale into the Deep Lake, once the source for clean water, fishing, and industrial hauling for the entire city.

NOT PICTURED: A bunch of Dwarf constructions and buildings.

To the West: The Forests of Stone,
To the South: The Corrupted Forest,
To the East: The Halls of the City, The Palace, and The Great Rift,
To the North: The Stone Sea.

Beneath the city lies the ruins of many older settlements and extensive mining shafts, both of which now harbor only a sea of corpses.

Wow, your style has really developed over the last year or so!

I don't know much about computerised art, but it kinda reminds me of the stuff ninedots posted back in the old DF art threads. Getting very painterly, with the loose strokes and different textures, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, awesome to watch someone gaining ground.

The chainmail and the metal armor looks downright fantastic, great job on the material! The pose is very strong as well. Looking forward to seeing this more complete, this has got to be one of your best pieces yet.

Finally decided to take another crack at character design after learning that Pokémon tabletop is a thing that exists, though I don't play the games that much. Sadly, I have enough trouble finding IRL D&D as it is, I don't know if I could find anyone at all that plays PTU. Online is always an option, but strangers in vc are scary.
