Nice! Quite long in the face, though; particularly the eyes are very high. This may well be intentional, I'm just observing it in case it isn't. :P

Yeah, I realized that about when I started shading. But I knew not how to correct it at that stage without starting over. Such things are less problematic when working with vectors.

I have started a series of illustrations covering my dwarfs in a current game of Dwarf Fortress. The purpose of which is practice with different facial types and smaller details.

So far I have the one portrait of Solon Serathel, the first of my starting 7 dwarfs.

You will be able to see the rest of my portraits, as they're completed and uploaded, here. I also have various pages of practice covering different body and facial parts along with notes of things I learnt while drawing them which may be useful to some people.

Laaargely an exercise in rendering metals. The parts that look unattended to were mostly ignored in favour of working on the armour. :P

Definitely looks better than last time, though part of me wants to say that the highlights could be even MORE prominent. This is obviously not mirror-polished metal though, so you get a pass. :v

Also very nice work! The lips bother me ever so slightly; possibly because they look kinda rough compared to the smoothness of everything else. O well lol, minor detail.
