My scanner appears to have died of old age, so the scanning of my newer art has to wait. However, I gave a shot in drawing with a mouse, and here are the results:

Somewhat ironic considering it's only bites that break the skin on hit that pass the curse (I've seen latch-shakes not pass it if the bite only bruised, blunt force trauma not pass it of course, and scratches not pass it.)

But hey, better safe than sorry as the church guy says.

-

Haven't figured out what to work on next. I have way too many rough drafts sitting and waiting to be worked on.  :-\

Woops, what I was thinking? It should have read "bite" (or nibble) instead of "scratch". Thanks for pointing that out!  :D

While going through my art folder, I found a picture I drew & inked last winter, but never finished coloring (and probably never will):

Some speedpaints in an attempt to improve speed and maintain sanity after four days of intensive work, which should, with some luck, be over now

Nice speedpainting there Cathar! Liking the palette of the first picture a lot.

(I should try to learn painting some day, as I've never been good in using colors.)

I made a short album at the beginning of last month. If you have any critique I'd be happy to hear it.

Ok, here's a bit of critique from an amateur/hobbyist composer.

First, some of the tracks are louder than the others, so the listener has to adjust the volume between them, which is a bit annoying. Second, the sound clips quite badly on the first track (not sure if intentional or not, but regardless, it's not a good thing); the clipping on the kick was quite unbearable with headphones even after turning the volume waaay down on my device. Third, the sound balance of some instruments was a bit off: on the fourth track especially the sound with the decimator/degrader effect was definitely too loud. However, you apparently didn't use much time to make the album, so these kind of things are easy to miss (you sort of become "deaf" to these things after listening to your own tracks for a while).

That said, you clearly had some nice ideas in your tracks and they conveyed different kinds of moods and had my imagination running. I'd say get the volume and clipping issues fixed - maybe even ask someone else to master the tracks - and use more time on the structure of the tracks, and you'll have a much better album at hand.

Anyway, keep on making music - I'll gladly listen to what you next come up with!

This is a drawing I made of an underground cavern. In the stalagmites are imprisoned vampire dwarves. I drew it with pencil crayons and submitted it to Kruggsmash' youtube channel.
Those are plump helmet men in the bottom left.

Thanks for taking the time to write that out, genuinely helpful stuff. You're very right about becoming deaf to your own music, next time I'm going to try and wait a day before releasing tracks to catch any issues. I'll also watch for any clipping and make sure to master my songs together in a more cohesive way. At the time I had just mastered them when each track was finished without listening to the others. I'll post in this thread whenever I release something. Cheers.

This is a drawing I made of an underground cavern.
Now I want to go make some vampires in one of my forts, just so I can shove 'em into stalagmites so their moans echo through the caverns for all eternity... that's brilliant that is!
