We are still watching.

I highly expect that XCOM isn't exactly on the side of the law anymore. Or at least, isn't okay with ADVENT. And the aliens tie in somehow, I guess.

But no seriously guys this is the best marketing thing i've seen in a long time

Credible?  They don't provide a source.  Also, "XCOM Deux" would just be the dumbest title possible.

Credible?
Abridged version: My guess is as good as yours, but wouldn't it be nice if XCOM2 came out this November?

But not a bad working title ;)

Sounds more like they got in touch with Firaxis/2K.

X-Com having gone underground is a point that's been made in the past. There's also the fact that X-Com: Apocalypse is the only game so far where X-Com can "go rogue" and still win the game, albeit with great difficulty. X-Contras is also thematically appropriate since it is a reversal of X-Com and Exalt's relative positions.

Advent Future is updated again. The globe now says DESTROYING YOUR FUTURE in red X-Com font, and the purple flare in the bottom left is growing. That's a fairly distinctive shape that I think I've seen before...a wormhole diagram?

Another picture has been hacked as well: "we are still here. look for our signs. we will return".

Jake Solomon said on Twitter a while ago that the Volunteer survives Operation Avenger. There's a lot of talk about how ADVENT's name might be referring to the Volunteer's return...as an agent of the aliens.

People are now suggesting that glitched letter arrangements are starting to spell Vigilo Confido. Which, by the way, has always meant "I am watching."

The lens flare is just lens flare. 3 out of focus dots.

It was smaller before. Now it's not just bigger, but it's become a moving image.

It gets bigger as the sun comes over the horizon in the animation, then shrinks as it goes back down. That's how lens flare works, bigger the more intense the light is.

Not gonna lie, the idea of being against the law and still fighting the aliums sounds pretty sweet. My interest is peaked!

It's been pointed out that the lights in western Australia are not correct for existing settlement, and in fact are mostly in the desert even though they represent massive sources.

In Apocalypse, you can make the law your enemy.  With fun consequences.

You can make anyone your enemy and survive, laughing, if you're powerful enough, but God forbid you upset General Metro.
