Be cautious about setting up glass industries-- they make the fort really wealthy, really fast, so you might not have all your traps set when the first round of goblin ambushes come knocking!

Got ambushed just as I'd planted my first 6 cage traps. Luckily I had a solid squad of 10 equipped in some crappy copper armor and they took care of the goblins with ease.
