Steam is making dedicated hardware that runs on it's own OS and is supposedly blurring the lines between consoles and PC. They are currently accepting beta testers. At some point this year, Valve will randomly choose some of the applicants and ship them their very own SteamOS machine.

Thoughts?
Also, one of the application requirements is to make ten friends, and me being the antisocial loser that I am, would appreciate help.
