She has a pleasing, feminine voice, but "pleasant" and 'feminine" aren't exactly qualities I associate with ancient dwarven mines.

For comparison, here is the 1977 version.

Indeed, a very un-dwarven voice. I can't think of it as a problem though :)

It's been ages since I've seen the animated version; I may have to dig that out and see if it holds up.
