You stumble your way towards the door and open it. You see the enormous figure of your ex-military neighbor(medic). You point at the blood and then at your mouth before promptly falling over. When you wake up again you see your neighbor laid you on the couch and him desperately trying to contact 911.
Your hunger has reached zero! You feel nothing but hunger and by now see your neighbor as the nearest source of food.

Combat initiated! (The combat in the rest of the story will not go like this, but I don't feel like rewriting this right now.)

Enemy:
 He is panicking
 He looks healthy
 He is much taller and stronger then you
 Not aware of your awake state

You:
Very very hungry
Health 10/10
Energy 15/20
Infectivity 10 percent (A bite is a sure-fire way to infect. this mainly just means your scratches and blood)

Attacks:
Bite
Scratch
Punch


Because of your hunger you aren't smart enough to go grab a knife or something right now.

He hasn't dialed yet. He's to panicked in general and he's right now fumbling with the phone. You have enough time to attack him is you attack him right away.

You Attempt to sneak up behind him make too much noise. Your neighbor turns around and notices you lunging at him. He sidesteps you and punches you in the stomach. You cringe a little but don't feel a lot of pain.
Jesus Christ! Calm down! your neighbor screams at you.
He seems to think you are just delirious.

Aware of you.

Will not attempt to kill you

You proceed to intensionally fall over. You manage to scratch him on the way down. You infect him! He doesn't seem to be fazed by the small scratch and proceeds to grab your arms and put you in the closet.
Combat ended...

 He then calls 911. He manages to say the entire thing before hanging up. He then waits impatiently for the ambulance to get here while he starts to look pale. After 5 minutes he starts vomiting blood on the carpet and then falls down onto the floor. Sputtering some final words(Mainly a colorful and creative repertoire of most swear words known to man.)

After he goes silent you step out of the closet and see him laying on the floor,dead. You proceed to quickly nibble on his arm a bit so you can think a little. then you realize the fact that you just killed your fellow man for a snack!
Sweet Jesus why did i do that! Fuck!
After a while your neighbor stands back up. You breathe a sight of relief until you notice his eyes have lost all life in them.
You quickly remember he sent for an ambulance so you decide to formulate a plan.

Your neighbor just stumbles around.
 
You still have about 5 minutes before the ambulance arrives. Leaving you a little time to experiment with how much control you have over your new ally.

Your stats

Health 10/10
Energy 17/20
Infectivity 10%
Hunger 10/20
Durability lever 1

RUOUN OUT DAH HOUSE!!!

We've infected one person already. I guess that if we manage to infect enough people, we'll be able to trigger a dawn of the dead sequence and cause mass infection. Which means we should go on a mass nomming pilgrimage and attempt to leave the city before all hell breaks loose :P
