Suggested tactic: hide for a year, don't do anything, cave in middle of nowhere, grab animals for hoard and our human/elf from nearby forest, emerge and attack when their guard is down or when the other zeds take over

Two things: First off, Zombies do rot, but it takes years before they it starts affecting them. If they feed, they don't rot. They even heal from wounds that would be permanent on a human.

Also, I can't let you hide out for a full damned year. I don't do time-skips that are that long, not to mention that Sasha would find you.

I'll update tomorrow based on what the people before that plan said, unless something else appears.
