Your new instincts take over and you lose your last bits of humanity.Said humanity mainly goes out  screaming fuck in all it's different variations it knew.
You first decide to get some control over your zombie(You can give him a name if you want.Like snowball.)
You ask him to do a little dance. It proceeds to look at you for a bit before doing a moonwalk. Or it fell over backwards.
You then ask it to do some laps around the table. It stands there for a few seconds then shuffles a single lap around the table and groans a little.
You then decide to go outside and get some followers. As you go out of the room however you hear the ambulance has arrived.

What do you do?

Health 10/10
Energy 18/20
Infectivity 11%
Hunger 9/20
Durability lever 1

use him to wrestle and choke the medic into unconciousness, then bite.

Actually you are the only one with brains that still sort of function. You can give some basic orders to your lesser zombies but it's rather limited for now.

Also Snowflake(I'll call him snowflake cuz i feel like it) is rather muscled. But he won't suplex the ever loving shit out of things. Yet.

The zombies develop on their own and a bit faster then you. But as said they lack a bit in brain.

will we be able to mutate the virus/parasite/whatever so we can eventually set up a fully functioning zombie civilisation?

Yes. You can eventually do that but it will take a long while. The lack of aging will help with that.

The military guy won't become smart like you. There is a specific way to create smarties that right now isn't really unlocked.

The parasite gives you an urge to go eat humans and not feel bad about it and and commanding zombies and all that jazz.

again, do as I said in order to create a small number of zombies, as the more zombies we have, the better the chance that we have to infect and control more people.
all we need is for a single city's worth of zombies, then we have a chance of taking over a very large amount of territory.
That still, at the moment, requires you to get followers. One at a time. Until we have about ten, I think it would be safer to think strategically. Once we have more, getting a small cities worth will be a piece of cake. Foundation now means bombs for later.

You stand in front of your room and order Snowflake to wait in the room and ambush anything that comes past.
When the paramedic comes you fall over and try to look as if you are in as much pain as possible.
The paramedic is wary though and slowly comes closer. Just as he goes past the room he notices Snowflake and steps back.
Seeing no other options you lunge at him missing and making him panic! He flees downstairs screaming that it's contagious and that they are aggressive.
They call for some people that are better equipped for this.

Welp.you had 2 critical failures.
