Hireshite walks up to Duh, points in the street group's direction and whispers:
Maybe those are just some lost late drunks, but I think we should hide.
Move the opposite way for now, preferably through side streets, until intersection at the end of the park.

((Waiting for Imp to work out times and places...))

((It's been a while, I don't remember yet what I was planning to work out?))

Duh? heads out the exit, and listens to Hireshite, then moves towards likely cover and obscurement from the other group's line of sight, then notices that Hireshite is actually going somewhere and follows, a very softly stated "Duh?" as he goes, figuring the bird can easily find him; hiding from a bird is far more difficult than hiding from distant humans.

For every trouble under the sun, there is an answer, or there is none.
If there is one, then seek until you find it.
If there is none, then never ever mind it.

((General confusion of this turn, which was confusing at least for me. But all's fine now.))

Rest of the sigs
The helicopter is rent apart by the collision, its steel unable to resist its inevitable reunion with the ground, and the meat within is smashed by the crumpling cockpit beyond any practical hope of recovery. What comes up, must come down again. Ore and ape, returned to mother planet's embrace.

Celosia rolls onto his back, purring loudly and reaching up to hug her hand with his forepaws.  The woman may not be very good at this, but it seems she's overwhelmed; best to not press her for now.

After a few minutes, if she's still not doing anything or asking any questions, he will speak again:  "I appreciate your kindness.  But it may be in your interest to warn your friends soon, before they make any more severe mistakes.  Unless you believe there is something which will safeguard them?"

Once they are a couple buildings away from the cultists’ hideout, Hireshite murmurs, slowly: “'Pick a shadow you can see and focus on it while you step into another, you'll find yourself at the shadow you focused on.' That’s what my 'patron' said. I could bring you along with me too, it seems. Only… it is so… unsettling. Not so much magic to appear elsewhere, even, but who does it come from.”

“Can I ask you your name? They did not give us time for even that...”

"Duh?  Take me with you.  I understand unsettling, sometimes."  Duh? stays close to his companion, watchful and somewhat protective, knees slightly bent, considering that stepping into a shadow might feel like falling and coming out of one might be rough or unbalanced.  A mental attempt to settle himself.

"I did not mean that I want to do it right now, but... Very well."

The cat will never find them.
Action edited.
