Yeah, but then it turns out that your militia is being led by someone who doesn't believe in monster hunters, at least until the young girl monster hunter wipes the floor with your militia in training, and has a neromantically mad doctor who is creating a supersoldier out of demons/dwarves/mechanisms, who inevitably goes bad and all 'killy', so you lose almost all your militia. And the doctor, who is resurrected to create more hybrid DDM supersoldiers, and the only one who can stop them is the monster hunter (and her badass friends, and an otherwise normal carpenter who is also her friend).

It's a tale as old as time itself!
