Twas I the assassin, in revenge for his rampage centuries prior in Icefury.

Uhhhhhh. Sorry. I was preeeetty sure i uploaded the timeline where that did not happen, and I had checked to make sure he was indeed resurrectable (by hijacking one of your necromancers and trying to target the corpse, which if i remember correctly it was a valid target.), but i had three versions of the save going at that point, you know, "to murder or not to murder," and had been waiting on Bralbaard's go-ahead, which he never responded to, so i was pretty sure id selected and continued on in the save where that never happened...

Zokun is dead too, i couldnt retire him because i let him get husked by the fiendish soot so i let him starve to death, and his corpse also is not resurrectable. Its impaled on a spike outside Livingdead. So i assume the "mutilate bodies" mechanic ensures they cant be resurrected, and since moldath, zokun and maloy were all various undead abominations, they all got impaled by the locals.

Moldath's corpse is also probably somewhere in the eternal citadel, i think it should be on the surface(?), impaled on a pike just like Zokun and Maloy.

Alright  here it goes might have to break it up if it proves unstable but could make an interesting narrative storywise for the timeskip storry.

But if it goes well..

How's the time skip going, friend?

I know it might take awhile, no rush, just curious
