Dude at work is lying to me about having collected more samples than he has.

The real WTF is, that he is doing so without even editing the headers of the data. So the data is clearly labeled as from the samples I already know of and told him about knowing of.
And he doesn't even have a reason to lie to me, as I asked him about all the data he has, not a set amount.

There is clearly a need to check for changes in the curvature of space near you. Have you made sure that the nearest black hole to you hasn't been moved without you noticing? People can be so inconsiderate about such things, never telling other people what they're doing.

I'm probably just getting fat and losing leg muscle now that i think about it, which is still kinda weird because all I have a pretty physical job.

On the wtf for the day; had an onboarding meeting at 10am here, told to report to the spokane office. Did so, turns out they actually wrote me down for 12 and over the phone. So here I am in the big city waiting for a phone call I could have done better at home. And then the pups wouldn't have been left alone too

I think I need to talk to my counsellor about this, but I feel like I'm... dissociating or derealising. I don't know which. If either. It might be something else.

I'm regularly getting this weird feeling like my thoughts have a degree more reality than everything else. I suspect it's my brain trying to cope with my anxiety and burnout and failing, and it's having problematic effects like making me lose any real sense of urgency.

We need to go back. Modern architects are looking at Escher's Relativity and using it as a design drawing.

Oh no, nooo... keep going, maybe one of them will figure out teleportation or ground level FTL or something in order to break architectural limits.

Though that vid did look kinda' generated instead of recorded? The people and camera didn't move like people or cameras being carried by a person. It seems to be a real building, tho'.

The building is, yeah. That specific video looks a lot like it isn't, though, or at minimum not fully. Stuff just doesn't move right.

It's at least partially real. At 0:47-0:49 the cameraman's hand slips into view on the right side of the frame. The reflections are also too good for generation, I think. Same with the wind motion on the plants.

I think there's some sort of stabilization/smoothing/correction applied to the footage, it's especially noticeable in the weird way the cameraman's movement affects the camera and the smooth panning from a handheld(?) camera on a windy day.

On a totally unrelated note, that building's going to be a maintenance/repair nightmare with how many nonstandard or unique pieces it has. Imagine a bunch of those little triangle tile bits have something heavy dropped on them.

The camera effects are weird, but judging by how the camera politely waits until the guy coming out of the building has moved past does make me think it is a real video with editing after. I think an extra-wide angle camera was used.

And heh, I didn't know the building. I haven't been in Amsterdam for a long time. It is a majestic piece of architecture.
