Watched some videos about it. It's a very simple cozy game. I'm not sure if it would be worth the full prize of 5€. But for free I claimed it.
And perhaps I will play it someday when I am so sick that I can't use my brain...

Metro 2033 Redux can be claimed for free on gog

Giveaway doesn't seem to be working, and in fact the GOG servers don't seem to be working very well either.

Gog servers are just unable to deal with so many people using their website, since the Metro 2033 announcement their servers are overloaded. I guess as gog know they're not on a steam level of frequentation they don't invest as much in their servers, and in case of spike of frequentation they're down.

Not the first time it happens, everytime they have either a game that goes free and is actually a very good game, or sell a new very popular game their servers get knocked out.

It will go back to normal in a hour or two once the rush will have moved away hopefully.

Fortunately there is still 45 hours left to claim that brillant game.
