There's a lot of quality water in this well, but this is some of the best. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!

Oh man, I listened to these guys in, uh, what was that, late middle school, early high school? Loved the garage metal sound, and the Warhammer40k thematic. That brings back some memories.

Come, laddies, come, hear the cannon roar,
Take the king's shilling and you're off to war,

I've no idea why I suddenly remembered this song (which I heard many times years ago) right now, but it is beautiful.
Here is the studio version, as I remember it and possibly even more haunting than the version above.

Where exactly has this thread been all of my life xD

My contribution is a song from the Indie Rock Playlist from July. The song is Something Warm and the band is Boy on Guitar.
Listen with your ear holes, fellows, and enjoy if you find it enjoyable!

I'm liking older Fall Out Boy stuff. (Yes, I found it through VSQ.) Right now I'm listening to I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy And All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me and admiring the epic guitar and superlong title.

(They then played Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, which is a disemvoweled title that used to be "Thanks For The Memories", thus titled as a jab at the higher-ups who asked them to stop making long titles.)

(Unholy Armok, disemvoweled is a word, I was just making a pun off "disemboweled")

Doublepost, but this album by Zalza is pretty fucking good. A recounting of the journey of the computer between the early 1970s and the mid-90s, with plenty of radio voice samples over the music, which I am an absolute sucker for.

I've recently been introduced to something I didn't think I'd enjoy that much, namely, black metal, but I think it's because it's not pure black metal, or rather it's very loosely related and their songs go pretty much all over the place. But the one unifying characteristic is that the Devil is Fine

And then there's sheer insanity like this one.

I've had this song stuck in my head for like a week now, despite only recognizing maybe 1 in 10 words from the lyrics. It's driving me crazy >_<
