What is it all about?

Dota 2 is a competitive game of action and strategy, played both professionally and casually by millions of passionate fans worldwide. Players pick from a pool of over a hundred heroes, forming two teams of five players.

The game is won when a player has 2 hero kills or 2 tower kills

    Draft Rules:

    Every game is a mirror match, meaning each player plays the same hero. Each player picks their two favorite heroes (their first and second choice). Shadow Fiend and Mapo are not allowed as one of these, SF is always used if a third game is needed.

    Not Allowed:

    - Jungling
    - Major creep blocks/re-routes
    - Soul Ring

    Allowed:

    - Runes and Bottle Crowing
    - Upgrading Courier

No I made a new general Dota 2 thread, with better OP and 1v1 tournament posts.

Oh sorry, the title misled me. I thought this was exclusively about the 1v1 tournament.

The tournament should probably have it's own thread though. The posts about that aren't that much interest for anyone not participating. Also, you should probably rather ask Nilocy to close his Dota 2 thread instead of Toady. I hear that is not possible anymore, nevermind.

Sorry I came out a bit harsh, I do welcome a better Dota 2 thread with updating titles and stuff, I just had a knee jerk reaction to closing down the old one.

So, I just finished my match with Barbarossa(AKA Tyrannosaurus Axe) winning 2-1.
We played Templar Assassin/Axe and then Shadow Fiend to finish the tie.

I won TA, he won Axe, I won shadowfiend.
