    I've been programming this game in flash for a couple months now, and I've finally reached the point where I can start to incorporate final art. I intend for one of the levels to be a massive reference to dwarf fortress. The level will first have you fighting a cat army and move on to champions and eventually you will siege a fortress.

Who wants to draw a cat/!!dwarf!!/HammerChampion/whateverfdwarfthingyoucanthinkof  art to be included in the game. The art needs to be vector, but that is pretty much the only limitation.

    Hopefully the game will attract some more fortressheads   into the ranks of those already on this forum.

No ones commented?  What a shame.

For a tech demo, this is pretty promising.  It took me the longest time to realize that bodies are destructable dependant on where you hit them.  I really dig things like that. 

I also love playing with the Shuriken physics to get it to do all kinds of silly things.

In an older engine stabbing was possible. But you can't map out right-click, so it came down to shurikens vs stabbing

XD, yeah I remember that. But there were quite a few complaints about that, so I AIed it out.

If you rapidly click the shurikens you'll create sort of a spikey funnel of death from your hands,makes it very easy for people to just obliterate all opposition.

I like this demo, very promising. Is it just forever going to be stuck in the one place fighting tougher and tougher bosses? or will there be movement of the Player Character?

I like this, shurikan throwing seems really odd though, because it's very hard to throw them, and you throw big handfuls of shurikans at once instead of one at a time.

I trust it to be refined in the future though.
