Takeo is still wandering with Kira around in search for a plan. Both of them initially don't say an unnecessary word.
He keeps some distance between them. He does not explicitly avoiding physical proximity, it's more like he doesn't seek it.
He is a bit happy though, feeling a little less lonely now. Moreover, while gazing at the girl, he can't help but find her rather cute.

Zach looks at the room, committing it to memory. After all, when he loses his sight he is going to need to remember how his room is.
