The update is almost done and is up to 35 screenies, but we have an issue. While playing through in my no-save scummy way, one of our own was gunned down with out any possibility to prevent it.

Generally speaking I consider this pretty cheap gameplay mechanics and feel fine save scumming over this stuff, but I wanted to post the question to you guys.

Do we lose another team member in a totally cheap strike or do we take a different approach and save scum?

Biff looks surprisingly cool with those sunglasses.  And he even got in a kill!

The team remembers you. I wish AIM would forget though.

Biff is pretty funny. "They're all dead and I am still alive!"

I have considered handing him a machine gun and having him provide covering fire only, but even in that role machine guns kind of suck.

Mortars on the other hand... I can't wait to give someone a mortar.

Biff has this uncanny ability of attracting fire everywhere he goes. It doesn't matter if he's behind cover, in a building, or wandering around miles away from the front line. The bullets will find him.

I think he has a magnetic plate in his head.

Meanwhile Booyah was going through his morning routine. Every day he logged on to AIM and attempted to recruit a replacement medic. Every day he was rebuffed. Today, 13 days after the death of Hamos and Euchr, everyone he contacted him still rejected his offers. He began to fear AIM was no longer an option.



HA! I bet he regret threatening to murder the only medic on the team for trying to stay alive since a dead medic helps no one. I bet Euchr bitched to his colleagues on AIM and now every medic in town know to keep the hell out of dodge! 


Anyway, since this teams seems great at long range out in the open assaults, would it be possible to form a second close range squad for those tight indoors missions? I bet those costum guns might shine there. Alternatively just buy a lot of 'nades and level every building in sight so that every battleground becomes an open air battle ground.  :P

I am sure Gumpy would love that...

I don't like the implication that my avatar in this JA2 universe went to hell, as opposed to heaven or somesuch.   :P

Pretty much the only thing we know is that he probably didn't end up in Valhalla, and would have likely not wanted to go there anyways.
