I've got to craft some sorta resume before graduating high school because they're like that.  Oh which college to go to, which college.

I did go and check it out, actually. There was another bird of the same type flopping around nearby. Also, some sticks on the ground where the first one died, though I don't think it was a nest so much as signs of struggle. No blood, strangely enough. The crow defeated it with blunt force trauma, apparently. Also, the brown bird was either trying to play dead or spasming and twitching post-mortem as the crow jabbed it.
