I love animals quite a bit but even I have my limit. (I find Cows cute :D which I didn't know was unusual until I started asking around)

Don't vote for #3! it'll happen anyhow :)

While I agree that world history is the beginning of all that is DF, I'm impatient for the new version, and hearing about how it is nifty and different than 40d is helping me cope. Hence a vote for #1.

Worldgen/history, definitely.  I'm far more interested in fleshing out the larger-scale fantasy world model than drilling down into increasing detail on one narrow area.  Also it just sounds like a more interesting discussion than a lot of "can you make x?  what about y?  can you mod z in?"  The emergent, system-level behaviors, such as the ebb and flow of nations and the creation of stories through histories of groups and individuals, are the coolest parts of what's possible with DF.

I had to go with trades. I want to hear more about what Toady has in mind for custom workshops and expanding the crafting options. Hmm. I'll have to prepare some questions for this.
