You should probably file a bug report on the tracker, yeah.  I don't think he's watching DFFD.

Now I'm having the same problem RevReese did. Account is also FreakyCheeseMan, if anyone wants to look.

What do you really need to turn Elves into Dwarves? Mutation could make them grow a beard; insanity effects could make them evil-minded, aggressive, tree-hating cave dwellers, and instant, full necrosis of their lower legs could make them short.

People who are unable to reset their password should send a PM to Baughn.  He can reset it for you.

Im curious when I see issues with possible duplications/child or parent relationship Ive been writing the numbers in the notes. Is this a derired behaviour or would you rather we didn't do that?

It's very much appreciated.  It saves me the trouble of looking up the previous report, and sometimes I don't even know about (or remember) the previous report.  Tagging them as "Duplicate" will ensure that I notice them eventually, too.

Umm, the captchas aren't working... I think I might be a robot...

EDIT:
This happened too:

I think I would remember if I had amnesia.
I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

Yeah, Mantis seems to be having issues right now.  I've sent a PM to Toady and Baughn.

Its not just you as I'm getting that error as well. No idea about the captcha thing though.

A public bug tracker... Welcome to the realm of nightmares. Good luck chaps!

What Taco Dan meant about the captcha not working is that (I think) the system won't let him sign up.  It's not accepting session writes, or something.  It's not public, don't worry.

I mean when I get to the signup, I can't see the captcha thing, it shows up as a broken image.

EDIT:
Oh, never mind, it works now.

The note about linking to an issue with '#' syntax is useful. I've seen particular notes within an issue linked, too; could anyone who knows the syntax for that reply or edit the OP with the info?

Also, does anyone know what the "monitor" button does, exactly?

Yes, using a tilde (~) instead of a hash (#) will link to a comment.  For example, typing ~21683 on the tracker will link to comment 21683 (regardless of what issue it's attached to).

Monitoring is mainly relevant for notifications, although I think some or all of that is disabled in our configuration.  Its most basic function is just being a list of bugs that you care about.
