Dear visitors;

Godhood. A game where the players ascend to Godhood, creating a universe from the very Essence.

In an attempt to prevent OOC talk or similars from flooding the thread in which 'Godhood' is played, I created this new thread.
Any future discussions will be held here, and those that fail to comply will be crushed by Xorn's fist. (Hehe..)

If you've got an idea for a God or if you wish to join in, then just as well post your template here, and check out the main page to read through the rules a bit better.

How does creating works anyway? For example if Karne creates constellations that grant power to beings is this power created out of nowhere? Or will those constellations constantly suck power away from him?

Everything that is created will draw power from The Essence. When the Gods create something, they will essentially mold part of the Essence (which is endless) into something, like those constellations. The creation itself tires the God, but for the creation to keep working doesn't really, although more magical powers granted to things without life need their creator or some other form of God to keep their link to the Essence.

That's how I pictured it, at the very least.

Not necessarily, but i thought it'd be a waste of your acts to create one when the situation would provide one. Instead, I thought Elan should keep his atmoshere.

But whether or not a planet instantly gets one depends on the planet. Volcanic, gasseous; Of course. Rocky, or some other strange material? You could include it in your act.

EDIT: Since I just realized that it's after midnight in the OP's time, I'll just go ahead with my planned action. Worst thing that could happen is I'll dip into Act debt for a round.

Answers and Questions:

Depends on what you define as a demigod. If you're not certain about an idea you've got, simply PM me and I'll tell you whether it'll work or not. -- If it is creative and not game-destroying, it probably will.

If I use a particularly creative action to do one thing (or interpret that action creatively), the results of which have multiple effects, how many acts do I use?

If I'm right you decided not to do what you wanted to do with the act you asked me about here, but you shouldn't fear if your acts turn out to bring you just a bit below zero. So as long as you are not creating something extraordinarily overpowered, strong and scary: No problems.

Comments:

- All Gods have posted their acts, and I'll be summarizing the changes to the universe shortly.
- Furtherly Aarrook has been added to the waiting list and I also did something else that I have forgotten about.
- I am tired and exhausted by the heat (about twenty degrees celsius, which is hot to me at the very least), so I might be less creative than normally (assuming I can actually be regarded as creative when I'm on my best.
- Elan still kept his last rounds' acts, and used only two. He'll once again start a round with four of them: Don't forget to use them as soon as you want to!
