No sieges = no forgotten beasts?
« on: May 06, 2010, 04:44:32 pm »

Just wondering, because I disabled sieges after too much Fun with goblins.
Now i made a good fort, prepared my army and went into the cages. But all I find there (all 3 levels) are some birds and hungry heads.. no forgotten beasts after 5 years now.

Or could there be another explanation for this?

Forgotten beasts are Titans. Thus, they count as a siege like any other megabeast. The wiki needs to be updated to reflect that.

The invasions option in the init will disable all sieges, babysnatchers, ambushes, and megabeasts/titans/forgotten beasts.

The only creatures that will wander onto your map will be the local wildlife and also caravans as well as migrants.

I really wish there were seperate options for normal sieges (goblins, elves, etc) and special sieges (forgotten beasts). As it stands I am not playing until the unkillable forgotten beast bug gets sorted. (also because I have exams in 1 week).

This guy gets it, the problem with the child torture dungeon is that they weren't set on fire first.
