Edit: And seriously, Urist, why did you open up those murky pools on surface? You flooded the space I dug out for axles for pumps :(

There was a bunch of stuff in them, including one of the unburied dwarves who was haunting the fortress.

And now all that stuff lies at the bottom of the ocean?...

By the way, are you ever going to update the to-be-dorfed list?

Done. I don't think any of the stuff in the pools actually fell in the ocean. The entire beach didn't hit 1/7 water until sometime in Opal.

Am I still alive?

Should be Iggy, or Iggy McNatz, a male peasant.

Hmm.

Honestly I don't know if I should bother with updates or not. I'm at half year by now and the sheer awesomeness is tearing me apart.

For the record, the total FB count is 8. From 15 at the beginning. But then, our military's dead or dying in horrible pains, I don't even have the dwarfpower to flood the z-level the battle took place in with magma because everyone's focused on dumping clothes in a desperate attempt to rise FPS, and whatever high-skill and relevant dwarves died in the flood, via FBs, or were generally fucked up somewhere in between. Population's down to 56.

Let's roll.

edit: stratch that, 55, some guy died in magma again
Bother with the updates i want to read this damn story.

Nothing important happened today. Dwarven caraven came and went, so did the humans, so did the goblins. The goblins offered us a nice deal on armor, actually, but they were treated elven-style. We're swimming in silver, my bedroom's complete, and most importantly, FPS is at a nice range of 20-24. I think I'm gonna manage to pack it up and send it this week.

Eh. I don't like doubleposting. Quite forced to do so because I gotta ask you guys something.

Now, the health menu is being spectacularily buggy (remember the dwarves that are numb all over? They don't die. They freeze down the menu every single time anything related to them is mentioned there, crashing the game. Whee!) and I had to replay the same two months a few times, it's beginning to be annoying by now. So, I ask you, should I send the turn unfinished and let breadbocks have two months extra for his turn?

If you want. Anything is better than nothing.

Also, that problem might have been fixed in .22/.23/.24 somewhere, so that's an option too.

Okay then. Just so you know, I was drunk most of the time while playing... so don't ask me how I did anything, okay? Especially that tiny thing in the Ocean of Slime. It's the thing that confused me most but I bloody well pulled it off properly.

Save is HERE.

Well player, LordSlowpoke.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.
