Alzheimer noble [rezzed thread]
« on: March 19, 2008, 08:40:00 am »

I just had a noble make a demand, and then forget about it half a second later- before I even had a chance to see what it was...

Rovod Dumatuvar, Hammerer has a new demand. [more]
Rovod Dumatuvar, Hammerer has forgotten a demand.

Not that I'm really complaining about this state of affairs, mind you... 8-)

Had the noble made any other demands that could have been forgotten when the new one was added?

Nope, its the only demand in my fortress so far. Well, it _was_ the only demand, for a moment, before we went back to being demand-free...

Sorry to rez the thread, but it seemed better than creating a new one for an update to an old bug report:

I just had this happen again, with the same noble. A different noble has demands work fine, so it may be something about that dwarf in particular.

I've had it happen a few times as well.  I'd been thinking it was caused by a noble wanting an item in a room he didn't have, but I recently got an "in dining room" demand on a fort with no tables.  Maybe it's a specific room that breaks it?
