I think it's time to lay down a few relatively mundane (dare I say, cliche-ic) truths. Sure, some of them will get horribly subverted... but that's half the fun, yes?

Humans are prevalent upon the upper world, and-- though few of them know it-- their stories are the most powerful of all.
