Game thread Carava, land of the gods. That's what they used to call it at least. A land populated by creatures beyond the wildest of imaginings, and with individuals just as diverse. But that was before the dead rose. Some blamed a necromancer, some death himself...... but regardless, you have decided to find out.
The trail eventually leads you to Aeva, once the capital of this deteriorating realm. Now it's streets lie in disrepair, and the buildings fall into ruin, for all but the hardiest of the people have fled from this place. But the trail has run cold, and it ended here.
Our heroes have ventured into the nearby kobold lair to find booze, with which to help reopen the tavern.They return to find the tavern, and the accompanying city, entirely lifeless. So they move on to the next town, Aela.
An RPG using a highly simplified version of the D&D rules:
All tasks have a DC, rolled against a d20. A modifier is added based on the characters skills. And, that's about it.
All actions are ENTIRELY FREEFORM. Skills are based on usage.
A large amount of the plot revolves around your actions.
Character submissions would be made by submitting a backstory, race etc. All up to you. Skills will be decided by me, based on said information.

Background: ie. profession, strengths, weaknesses, experiences etc..... Why your character is involved - ie. why do they want to kill the necromancer?
Example:
Name: Argul
Race: High elf
Description: Tall, even for a high elf, Argul is one of the oldest of his kind, born as his race began. his skin is gray, and his face appears drained through years of magic
Background: Argul was always physically weak, btu what he lacked in strength, he more than made up for in determination. Vowing never to give in to those who deemed him worthless, he dedicated his life to magic, in particular the magics of fire, which fascinated him. He even went so far as to enchant himself with fire magics, gaining a greater affinity to the element. However, one day he was awoken by the news that many of his peers, whose respect he had now earned, had been slain by the undead. Enraged, he vowed to wipe such scourges from the face of the earth......
Translates skillwise to:
Strength: -2
Magic: +3
Fire magic: +4
Fire affinity: +2
ie. he would have a modifier of -2 on hitting something, +9 (3+4+2) of casting fire magics, +2 on resisting fire, and +3 on other magic.
