I was going for like take 2 less damage every round. I dont know if that is really what it mean though. It is in the book though.

You mean +2 DEF/RES then. Base damage is your damage dealt.

Originally not of the Empire, Kautof's past is ill-known, but from what can be gathered, the swordsman longer has a home to return to, and has chosen to make the Empire his new haven and the Empress his new lord. Hopefully, this one will not turn on him...

Slender and short compared to mos citizens of the empire, Kautof has a muscular physique that seems made more for dancing than swordplay; but it is swordplay he excels at. Silver hair underlines a foreign complexion, and eyes that discern everything but show nothing in their black depths. Disdaining most armor, Kautof wears loose, silky robes that allow him freedom of movement, while tricking the eye into believing there is flesh where none exists. A leather choker sits loosely around his neck, adorned with three bronze images, all of which seem to be intricately engraved landscapes, an inch and a half in diameter. He ties his hair back into a bun or ponytail, most of the time, so that it does not obscure his vision.
